In 2006 Caitriona Walsh, Chief Executive of The Irish Film Orchestra, was commissioned to form an orchestra for the internationally acclaimed Wexford Festival Opera. The newly founded 'Wexford Festival Opera Orchestra' received immediate critical acclaim, being described in the Irish Times as 'the best orchestra in over 30 years' of the festivals modern history.
Ensemble groupings range from ethnic and orchestral soloists, string or jazz quartets, through to big band and full symphonic forces.
Choral services range from ethnic and classical vocalists through to full choirs.
